It's always been in me to start my own blog, one that's just for me and my own day to day indulgences. I have a few others on the go that I share with friends and family, but I always felt that to have one of my very own would be sort of...egotistical and self-centered - not saying that all of you with your own personal blogs are necessarily boastful, at all, actually. Which is how I came to the conclusion that I don't have to be that way either, and that I should enjoy having my own personal space on the Internet to share stories, and experiences and just simple, silly things. It doesn't mean that anyone is going to read it, but rather that I'm doing it for myself, to keep my sanity on the not-so-good days, and to take pleasure in 'me-time' on the great days - goodness knows we could all use more of that kind of time.
Realistically though, I think I put way too much thought into it, and felt just a little too much guilt for wanting to have a little space that's all my own, a space that is pink and bright, soft and pretty. I shouldn't feel the need to justify these sorts of things.
And so, with all of that out of the way:
Welcome to my blog, where I write.
