We started off with hot yoga at the Bodhi Tree. My all-time favourite yoga destination, and even more fun when you share the whole experience with a close friend who's into it too. I've never sweat SO much in a yoga class - the slimy kind of sweat - this one was somehow much more humid, but I love how stretchy the heat can make you if you let it. An hour and a half of breathing and stretching and twisting does wonders for your entire being - your mind, body, soul, innards. Oh yes...GOOD! (Kristi, we really should try to do this every Sunday)
Afterwards we treated ourselves to some fruity, healthy shakes. Delicious and cold, which I continued to drink during my shower. Acai berry shakes are amazing!! We then snacked on freshly home-made chili (thanks Cam!) with loads of cheese on top (super healthy...right? Just make believe and it will be...)
When our tummy's were full and happy, we took a nice walk with her dogs (Roxy and Baxter...see below) to Starbucks where we enjoyed warm beverages in the crisp outdoors and caught up. I must say, I don't remember ever just sitting in chilly weather like that, drinking something warm and delicious - a London Fog Latte to be specific. It was the BEST! I could use more fresh air. And definitely more face time with my bud (we must do more summer-time planning!). Here's an OLD puppy picture of one of those dogs (of which one you ask? Good question), along with a more 'recent' one of me making a face at Roxy. More recent being...last fall sometime - make that early fall, it was still warm.

It was a wonderfully, quiet day. I promised myself that we'd have more days like this. And this makes myself very happy.
